I have spent 23 years working in the motor industry selling both new and used cars, helping thousands of customers find their ideal cars and whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced sales environment of a main dealership, I realised recently that I missed the traditional approach to selling – the more personalised service that I enjoyed when I first started out in this industry – It gave me so much job satisfaction – But more importantly, gave my customers a great experience and complete confidence to return to me – knowing I would do all I could to help them. Moving away from dealership targets I can now offer a bespoke and personalised service, where you, my customer are right at the centre of everything I do, before, during and just as importantly after your purchase.

Our cars are, after all, a big purchase in our lives and us drivers all have stories about our cars. I’ve learnt that we tend to have different ‘relationships’ with our vehicles and that some of us are loyal to a specific brand of car whilst others aren’t. Some, name our cars, others spend hours cleaning them and I’ve met some customers who only get their car cleaned when its going to the garage for a service! I’ve found that it’s not only us adults who form a close bond with cars or have a story to tell about them – My daughter for example, loved my partner’s Mini – The first car she remembers, she named it Rosie and put name tags on the doors! Needless, to say she was devastated when Rosie had to go to the great scrap yard in the sky!
